Privacy Policy

In short

You don't need an account to use Dayvelo. What you enter is stored only on your own phone. We don't collect it, send it to a server, sell it or share it with anyone.

What you enter and where it is stored

Everything you enter (your name, avatar, the date of birth, gender, height, weight and region you choose to give, to-dos, habits and amounts, income and expense records, debts and payments, reminders and medication reminders, notes, mood logs and settings) is stored in the app's private storage on your phone. We have no access to it.

Deleting the app deletes this data from your phone.

Backups

When you tap "Back up now", your data is written to a single file and your phone's share sheet opens. You choose where the file goes (for example iCloud Drive, Google Drive or a messaging app), and it is then subject to that service's own privacy terms. Dayvelo never sends this file anywhere on its own.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your phone. Notification permission is requested only to show those reminders; notification content never comes from a server.

Voice entry and the microphone

The microphone is used only when you tap the microphone button on a form, to turn what you say into text. Audio is not recorded or stored. Speech is converted by your phone's own speech recognition; where your phone supports it, this happens entirely on the device. Otherwise your phone maker's speech service (Apple or Google) may be used, under its own privacy terms. Dayvelo never sends your voice or the text to a server.

Store ratings

The app may occasionally show Apple's or Google's own rating sheet. Anything you write there goes directly to that store and is covered by its privacy policy.

Tracking, ads and analytics

Dayvelo has no ads, no ad tracking and no usage analytics. We don't track you across apps or websites.

Website

dayvelo.com uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit. It uses no cookies, doesn't identify you and doesn't follow you across sites; it only keeps totals such as which pages were viewed, the visitor's country, browser type and which link brought them to the site. The app itself has no such tool.

Children

Dayvelo is suitable for everyone and does not knowingly collect personal information from children; it doesn't collect personal information from anyone.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the effective date. If the way your data is handled changes, we'll also tell you in the app.
